 FAQs

  • Breathwork incompasses any breathing teachnique that is done as a form of medication or relaxation exercise. Holotropic breathwork or pranayama breathwork is done entirely through the mouth using two inhales, and one exhale. While the mind is focusing on the breath, the body is allowed to take over and heal.

  • Absolutely. We will spend the beginning part of each session with instruction. Most pick it up right away. After all what is more instinctual than breathing. Whilst the first few breaths may feel foreign, by the time you’re done you’ll feel right at home with breathwork.

  • Any array of sensations and feeling can occur during breathwork. Some may feel vibrations, movements, changes in temperatures, laughter, tears, and even audible sounds. All sensations are safe and welcomed.

  • Yes! Breathwork is safe for all. This breathing technique can be modified to suit the pace of each person. 7
